Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to support and strengthen our accounting operations. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, maintaining accurate records, overseeing key accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical ability, and proven experience managing end‑to‑end accounting functions.

Responsibilities
● Communicate with vendors and suppliers to verify charges, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely, accurate payments
● Maintain current knowledge of accounting regulations, industry trends, and best practices
● Enter, review, and validate financial data and transactions for accuracy and completeness
● Analyze budgets, financial trends, and performance metrics to support decision‑making
● Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile key balance sheet accounts
● Prepare financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
● Verify the accuracy of all posted transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls
● Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
● Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
● Process and review payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies

Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
● Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
● Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
● Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
● Strong mathematical and analytical skills
● Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
